They let you take that cop car on the ring? I thought that was super-illegal over there!
The FastLaneDaily special where they went to the ring, Derek D had a jacket on that said Polizei on it, and JF said “you can’t wear that. It says Police. They’ll arrest you in a heartbeat” (the scene starts at 17:34)

That Charger police car is perfectly fine. But visibly wearing/ driving something would be “ amtsanmaßung”, unauthorized assumption of authority which is illegal.
